Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Process Safety Manager course is designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills for managing process safety in industries such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing. The course focuses on identifying and controlling hazards related to chemical processes through the application of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Process Safety Management: Overview of process safety and its importance, Key elements of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems, Regulatory frameworks and standards (OSHA PSM, EPA, ISO), Roles and responsibilities of a process safety manager, Process safety culture and leadership, Introduction to hazard types in process industries.
Module 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Techniques for hazard identification (HAZID, HAZOP, What-If analysis), Risk assessment methodologies and risk matrices, Consequence analysis and modeling, Process hazard analysis (PHA) implementation, Identification of process deviations and safeguards, Prioritization and mitigation of risks.
Module 3: Process Safety Information and Documentation: Compilation and management of process safety information, Chemical and process data requirements, Equipment design and maintenance documentation, Safety data sheets (SDS) and material hazard communication, Management of change (MOC) processes, Documentation control and recordkeeping.
Module 4: Process Safety Control Systems: Design and function of safety instrumented systems (SIS), Layer of protection analysis (LOPA), Alarm management and response, Control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout), Mechanical integrity programs, Inspection and preventive maintenance strategies.
Module 5: Emergency Preparedness and Incident Investigation: Development of emergency response plans and drills, Incident reporting and investigation techniques, Root cause analysis methods, Crisis management and communication, Post-incident analysis and corrective action implementation, Coordination with regulatory agencies and emergency services.
